Alan Jaggs

In his one-hour interview, Alan Jaggs (1918-2008) recalls his early work in film in his native Great Britain and talks of his service during World War II. He recounts returning to England to edit features, which led to his opportune meeting with Walt Disney in 1950. Jaggs describes his career at Disney and his transition from editing films to editing television shows. He talks about some of the shows he edited during his post-Disney career, including The Andy Griffith Show; The Dick Van Dyke Show; The Wild, Wild West; Get Smart; and The Waltons. Finally, Jaggs speaks of his decision to retire and fulfill his dream of sailing around the South Pacific.
