Remembering Saul Turteltaub

We’re sad to learn that writer/producer Saul Turteltaub passed away of natural causes at the age of 87 on Thursday, April 9, 2020. Turteltaub wrote for various variety and talk shows, including On Broadway Tonight, The Pat Boone Show, and The Carol Burnett Show, before he and partner Bernie Orenstein became producers on The Beautiful Phyllis Diller Show. Turteltaub and Orenstein then wrote for and produced That Girl, Sanford and Son, and produced What's Happening!! with Bud Yorkin. He also worked on Kate & Allie and Cosby.
