Remembering Charles Strouse

We are sad to learn that composer Charles Strouse has passed away at the age of 96. Strouse composed some of the most beloved musicals of the twentieth century, including Bye-Bye Birdie (with longtime writing partner, lyricist Lee Adams) and Annie (with lyricist Martin Charnin). For television, Adams and Strouse composed the iconic theme song to All in the Family, sung by stars Carroll O’Connor and Jean Stapleton.
