Remembering Norman Lear
We are so sad to learn that legendary writer/producer/show creator Norman Lear has passed away at the age of 101. Lear’s career began in the early days of television, writing for The Colgate Comedy Hour and The Martha Raye Show. He went on to create (often with partner Bud Yorkin) some of the most groundbreaking and popular sitcoms of the 1970s, including All in the Family, Good Times, Maude, Sanford and Son, The Jeffersons, and One Day at a Time.
