Grace Under Fire is an American sitcom created by Chuck Lorre and starring Brett Butler as Grace Kelly, a smart-talking, no-nonsense, straight-shooting survivor of a bad marriage. After eight years of anything but domestic bliss, Grace decided she had only two choices: stay married, or work like a dog for lousy pay and find a way to raise her three kids. Eager to improve her lot in life, Grace is determined to secure the best possible life for herself and her family and have a lot of laughs along the way. The Carsey-Werner series ran September 29, 1993 through Feburary 17, 1998.
