We’re sad to learn that actor Louis Gossett, Jr. has passed away at the age of 87. Gossett studied at the Actors Studio before going on to celebrated parts on television, stage, and screen. He won an Emmy for his role as “Fiddler” in the groundbreaking miniseries Roots and was nominated for seven more Emmys, most recently in 2020 for his role in Watchmen.
