Remembering Tony Charmoli
We’re sad to learn that choreographer/director Tony Charmoli has passed away at the age of 99. He began his career on Broadway before moving into television, choreographing for Your Hit Parade, for which he won an Emmy Award in 1956 - one of three wins and fifteen nominations throughout his career. He went on to choreograph many other shows, including The Dinah Shore Show and The Danny Kaye Show, and to direct and choreograph specials for Mitzi Gaynor and Shirley MacLaine, among other stars.
