Advetnure/ Espionage describe shows involving characters placed in dangerous situations who must rely on their wits and skills. In many (but not all) cases, the characters are spies, secret agents

Westerns describe series featuring recurring characters usually situated in the early American frontier.

Sports describes Programs offering coverage of spectator games and events, and related topics.

Talk Shows describe series featuring a host/hostess who interacts with one or more guests on which the focus is conversation. For late-night talk shows see Late Night.

Awards describes shows that present public accolades for distinguished work.
